Cheryl Hills
Brand Creative Director & Designer
For the past 20 years, I've been a lead designer and creative director, partnering and providing support to agencies and independent clients. I design cross-platform brand systems and user experiences that shape how people engage with products, services, and organizations. I've met many talented folks along the way, and I'm grateful for the mentorship I've received as I grew in this space.
I received my BFA at the Art Center College of Design, where I specialized in visual design, branding, design thinking, and experience design. My earlier background was in traditional animation and entertainment design for television and feature films. I've also delved deeper into the virtual space, focusing on transforming brand stories into digital products and user experiences. I completed Springboard's nine-month intensive UI/UX Design program, gaining a broader understanding of the behavioral aspects of the digital world. I've further honed my skills in information architecture, sketching, wireframing tools, prototyping, and testing. Additionally, I earned my digital marketing certification at General Assembly to deepen my understanding of the latest market trends. Recently, I've continued to explore new tools, such as adapting AI technologies and discovering the latest creative tech to enhance my creative work.
